For Families and Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts
Wear your spookiest Halloween costume! Make icky and oozy creations using everyday ingredients. Have a spooktacular good time at all of the creepy science stations.
Note: Adults will be chaperoning, not participating.

GSHOM’s goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult to girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 5.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.

If a girl is registered and can’t make it, is their $10 refundable? Curious for pre-registering a troop because we always have atleast one who can’t make it.

Thank you for contacting us! Currently our refund policy, which can be found on page 71 of the 2019-2020 Source, states “Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the end of the on-time registration period. Refunds are not given for cancellations received after the registration period or for failing to attend the event. Registration may be transferred to another Troop or individual who meets the requirements. After the registration deadline, registration fees cannot be transferred to another program. Refunds will always be given if Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan must cancel an event.” We hope this helps, and we hope you have a great day!
