This course will teach you how to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. You’ll learn skills necessary to provide immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Those who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR – Adult and Child, which are valid for two years.

The First Aid and Adult/Child CPR training session starts at 9:00am and finishes at 3:00pm.
Will their be a lunch break?
Would this training qualify a person to be a Troop First Aider? Is AED training included? Thanks.

It would be great if one of these trainings was offered on a weekday during the school day! I think many people who are Girl Scout leaders (not all), have availability when their kids are at school. Thank you. Or, it would be great if Girl Scouts could provide a coupon code for leaders to take a discounted Red Cross class at a time that works with their schedule! Thank you!
