Do your girls want to go camping, but you are not sure what you need to do? No worries! This course will prepare you to lead young or inexperienced Girl Scouts on their first overnight experience. This training is a requirement for your troop to build a fire or stay at a GSHOM property. There is homework to complete before coming to camp, and then a discussion session and skills check at camp. Both components need to be completed to receive credit for Outdoor Skills 1.
NOTE: THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD COMPLETELY OUTSIDE, PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER.
